- Time and duration of the visit
- Location data (especially when using mobile devices)
On most mobile devices, the use of location services can be controlled or deactivated in the settings menu of the mobile device.
b. Use of analysis tools
Temis uses analysis tools on its website to collect data on the customer’s interaction with the website, on links that the customer clicks on and on other actions that the customer uses as part of Temis’s services. Further information on the use of the aforementioned technology by Temis and how it is used can be found in section 7 of this privacy policy.
c. Consent
By providing mandatory and any other voluntary data, the customer consents to their collection, processing, use and disclosure for the purposes described in this privacy policy.
4. Disclosure of data to third parties
The transfer of data to third parties takes place insofar as this is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract. Temis does not trade or sell customer data.
Temis will only pass on the information it receives to third parties to the extent described below:
- Protection of Temis and third parties: Temis discloses customer accounts and personal data about customers if it is required to do so by law or if such disclosure is necessary to enforce Temis’s terms and conditions or other agreements or to protect its rights and the rights of its customers and those of third parties. This personal data will also only be used in the aforementioned contexts and may not be used for other purposes.
- With the customer’s consent: in all other cases, Temis will inform the customer if personal information is to be disclosed to third parties and the customer will be given the opportunity to give their consent.
5. Duration of storage of personal data and its deletion
Customer data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the fulfilment of the purpose for which it was collected or within the framework of a contractual relationship. If necessary, the data will only be blocked if deletion is not possible for legal or factual reasons (e.g. retention obligations due to tax law requirements).
If the customer visits the website, the data collected under point 3 a) is automatically deleted after 90 days. The data collected from customers in accordance with section 3 b) will remain stored until the customer enquiry has been processed.
6. Security
Temis protects its customers’ data using technical and organisational security measures in order to minimise the risks associated with loss, misuse, unauthorised access, unauthorised disclosure and unauthorised modification. For example, firewalls and data encryption are used for this purpose, alongside authorisation controls for data access.
7. Analysis tools
Temis uses so-called tracking technologies to constantly improve and optimise the website. These include, in particular, Google Analytics and similar programmes. The analysis tools provide statistics and graphics that provide information about the use of the website. The data on the use of a website is transmitted to the server used for this purpose. Depending on the provider of a web analysis tool, these servers may be located abroad. For Google Analytics, this data is transmitted including truncated IP addresses, which prevents the identification of individual devices. The IP address transmitted by the customer’s browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. A transfer of this data by Google to third parties only takes place to comply with legal regulations or in the context of order data processing.
Users can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by cookies and relating to their use of the website (including their IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the following browser plug-in here.
8. Rights of the customer
a. In general
Customers can request information about which data is stored about them at any time.
They may request the correction, deletion and blocking of their personal data as long as this is legally permissible and possible within the framework of an existing contractual relationship. They can assert these rights via the address stated under point 1.
b. Revocation of consent
The customer may at any time withdraw their consent to the collection, processing, use and disclosure of their personal data in accordance with this privacy policy. However, Temis may no longer be able to provide the customer with full access to https://temis.ch/en/home-2 and the services offered on this website.
